Poppin' That Good Ol' Making A Video Cherry. . . Holler.

So basically, this is an exclusive... Sike. I made a video for the very first time. Here IT is people. Enjoy.

Bastard.

I caught the 5:15 p.m show at the Aliante Station to see Coraline. Not my idea of fun, but I was taking my boyfriend's little cousins to go see it...and I would do ANYTHING for them. From what I was told, the same people who created "The Nightmare Before Christmas" made this movie. I may have been misinformed, but I am not quite sure about that one. Now, I usually wouldn't go speaking on a movie I went to go see unless it was simply GREAT. The movie was fair, and I wouldn't tell anyone not to go see it because I am by NO means a hater. BUT, I will say that who ever was responsible for writing this film is questionable of being a bigot, or in lighter terms... prejudice. My reason for feeling this way is because there was a little boy in the 3-D animated extraordinaire named, "Whyborn". I wish I were blowing things completely out of proportion. This is not the case. The main character was (ahem) a little Caucasian girl who at a couple of points in time during the movie poked fun at him calling him, "Why were you born". The little boy was African American. It didn't take a rocket scientist to be able to figure out that his name was exactly how it sounded. I felt ashamed to be sitting in a movie that was made for kids... wanting to walk out at that very moment in time. Sadly, I stayed. Like I said, it wasn't that bad of a movie, but all that extra name calling was uncalled for, period. To make matters worse, the little boy's grandmother was raising him. I am almost positive everyone knows someone whose grandparent(s) raised them, but we also all know why. Sometimes unfortunately, it does happen to be because something has happened to the parents. Usually, but not always, this is not the case. Out of embarrassment, the little boy told the little girl to call him, "Whybe". I can't speak for anyone else, but I even feel the nickname sounds bad. Once again, it's self explanatory. Animated movies have always had their subliminal perks, but this one just isn't cool. . .

Check IT Out !

Forest, Forest Gump

"Life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're going to get."
The first time I ever saw the movie way back when, I didn't know what the hell he, Tom Hanks was talking about. Actually, it was Sally Fields, the mother in the movie who first said the damn phrase. Unfortunately but fortunately, it stuck somewhere deep within my cranium. Now I understand. I used to think & wonder what chocolate had to do with life. Given the fact that even an assortment of nuts & chews still gives you a lot of options, "You never know what you're going to get." is absolutely right! Life is so full of surprises, life lessons, heartbreak, heartache, mistakes, people, understanding, misunderstanding, trials & tribulations. Depending on how you handle all of this is completely up to you as a person. We don't always do the right thing or make the right decisions, but that is exactly why we end up where we do. There is always a wrong & right, but who is to say that it's always that simple. That... What we were taught when we were little is what we're supposed to do is really what we should do and have to. Happiness is a state of mind & I am a firm believer of this. Each & every individual out there has to choice to be or not to... be. It doesn't take somebody to make you happy, but in actuality yourself. Based on this, sometimes we as human make poor decisions with out hearts in the right place, but our heads not, searching for that right fix in the wrong way. Lying for example, even if what some of us refer to as a, "white lie" told with our hearts in the right place are disturbingly wrong because there is simply no justification to not telling the truth, the whole truth... so, help me God. For that exact reason, for some strange what goes around comes right back around life altering balance, usually if not always... The truth always comes out. Now, it may not be an immediate reaction that happens right away or overnight, but it happens. If you don't believe me, try it sometime. I dare you. Then again, I wouldn't suggest it. The truth is, a lie is simply a lie & if we care enough... We wouldn't do it at all. It's a cowards call. We've all been there & done that, but it's not the best decision made possible. It is at that very point in time the easy way out nevertheless just an illusion. We may never know what is to come & quite frankly we never will. This is the sick, sad truth. I am sorry. BUT, because I care deep within my heart even for those I have never met nor shall ever... I challenge YOU to make the best possible decision you could possibly fathom because you never know where the wrong turn may take you or what you will ultimately be sacrificing on the other end. I wish you well.
